Use the share option on the show and send the link. Link copied confirms it, or Couldn’t copy the link if something went wrong — in which case the address bar works just as well.
What your friend sees
If they are signed in: the show, exactly as you see it, and they can bid immediately.
If they are not signed in: they can watch. Watching needs no account. To bid or buy they will need one, and they will be asked at that point rather than at the door.
That is the right way round for sending a link to somebody who has never heard of Metzee — they see the thing before being asked for anything.
If the show has ended by the time they open it
They get This show has ended and Thanks for watching. The store has more to browse.
Shows are not recorded, so there is nothing to watch back — the link becomes a pointer to the store rather than to the show. Is the show recorded?
So send it while the show is running. A link sent the next morning is a link to a store page.
Better than sending a live link
If the show has not started yet, send the scheduled show instead. Your friend can set a reminder, which means they actually turn up.
Share Countdown is what sellers use for this, and the link works the same way for you.
The one thing worth saying with it
Not "look at this". Say what is in it: "saree drop, 40 pieces, starts 8". A bare link to a video of a stranger is easy to ignore; a link with a reason is not.
Sharing an item rather than a whole show
If what you want to send is one thing, send the listing. It keeps working after the show ends, which the show link does not.
What you cannot share
Your account. Two people bidding from one account is one bidder, and both of you are bound by whatever either of you bids.
If a friend wants to bid, they need their own account — which is also the only way they get their own notifications and their own orders. Can I have two accounts?
One thing to avoid
Do not send a link alongside an offer to pay for them, or to buy on their behalf outside Metzee. Every protection either of you has runs through the order, and an arrangement beside it has none. Why off-platform deals are risky
