Yes. Open the show from your list and use Cancel this show?. For a repeating show it asks whether you mean This show and every one after or Just this show. Delete Permanently removes it entirely.
That is the mechanics. The rest of this is about whether to.
What it costs
The show screen tells you, if you look: {n} buyers have set a reminder.
Those are people who chose to be interrupted for you. Cancelling teaches each of them that your countdown does not mean anything — and the next time you announce a show, some of them will not set the alarm.
That is the real cost, and it does not show up anywhere as a number. It shows up as a thinner room in three weeks.
Run it thin instead
The usual reason to cancel is not having enough stock. Twelve items instead of forty is not a reason to cancel; it is a shorter show.
A twenty-minute show with twelve items keeps the promise. The people who turned up get something, and they turn up next time. How many items should a show have?
When cancelling is the right call
- You are ill, or something has genuinely happened. People understand this completely.
- You cannot broadcast — no power, no connection, a phone that died.
- You have nothing at all to sell. Not "less than I hoped" — nothing.
How to cancel well
- Do it as early as you can. A cancellation an hour before is much worse than one the day before.
- Say why, briefly. Post it, message your followers, put it where the people who set a reminder will see it. "Sorry — I'm ill, moving this to Sunday 8pm" costs you almost nothing.
- Give a new date in the same breath. A cancellation with a replacement date is a reschedule. One without is a disappearance.
Rescheduling instead
Often better. Moving the time keeps the show and keeps the alarm, and anyone who set a reminder sees the new time.
Move it twice, though, and you have taught people the time is approximate — which is the same lesson as cancelling, delivered more slowly.
For a repeating show
Read the confirmation carefully. This show and every one after ends the series, which is almost never what you meant when you just wanted to skip one week.
