Usually quick. What makes it slow is rarely us.
What delays it
A document that cannot be read. Glare, a thumb over a corner, a photograph of a screen. Take it flat, in daylight, with no flash.
A name that does not match. The ID says one thing, the bank account says another. Why that matters.
An account in somebody else's name. A parent's, a spouse's. It will not pass, however reasonable the reason.
What you can do while you wait
Everything except take money.
Set up your delivery rules — do this before you list anything, not after. Write your listings. Photograph your stock. Name the store.
Sellers who spend the waiting time on delivery setup have a much better first week than sellers who spend it refreshing the verification screen.
Questions people ask
Will I be told if something is wrong?
Yes, and what to fix. Common rejections.
Can I list items before I am verified?
You can prepare. You cannot take money until it is done.
Can I do a show before verification?
No — the point of a show is to sell, and selling needs a verified payout route.
Does it need doing again later?
Only if you change the bank account or the details behind it.
Next: my verification was rejected.
