Sell-through is the share of the items you put up that sold. Eight of twelve is 67%.
Metzee shows it on your show recap, under Sold, as a percentage, and as a column in your analytics so you can compare one show against another.
Why it is the number to watch
Because viewers are a measure of your announcement and sell-through is a measure of your show, and people confuse the two constantly.
A show with 900 viewers and four sales did worse than one with 90 viewers and twenty. The first has a lineup or a pricing problem that a bigger audience will not fix — it will just mean more people watching nothing sell.
What a figure actually means
Very high, near everything sold. Often good. Sometimes it means your start prices are too low and you are leaving money on the table — check whether the winning bids sat barely above where you started.
Middling. Normal and healthy. Not everything should sell; an item that only goes when the right person is in the room is worth running again.
Low. Something is wrong, and the two lists beside the figure say which. Lots of views, no sales: is price or description. Saved but not bought: is price, straightforwardly.
I am deliberately not printing target percentages. They differ enormously by what you sell — one-of-a-kind work behaves nothing like repeat stock — and a number invented here would be worse than your own trend.
Compare against yourself, not a benchmark
Your analytics highlights your best-performing group, but only once a group has at least three ended shows behind it. That threshold is doing real work: two shows is not a pattern, and treating it as one sends you redesigning a format on noise.
So the useful comparison is this month against last, with one thing changed. How to find your store's numbers
The three cheapest ways to move it
Lower the start price, not the reserve. A low start pulls bidders in; the reserve protects you. What is a reserve price?
Cut the lineup. Twelve items shown properly beat twenty rushed. Unsold items cost nothing to run again. How many items should a show have?
Move the show. Your own Timing tab says when your buyers are actually there, and shifting by two hours is free.
