Yes. Open a show and watch all of it — every item, the bidding, the clock, the prices.
Nothing to install, nothing to sign, no email asked for. How to join a live show
What you can do signed out
- Watch any public show, start to finish
- Browse items and stores
- See prices move in real time
- Give a PIN code, so you only see stores that can reach you — without that being a sign-up
What needs an account
- Bidding
- Chatting
- Buying anything
- Following a store
Why the line is there
All four are commitments or identity.
A bid is a promise to buy. An anonymous promise is worth nothing to a seller, and the whole format rests on bids being real. Is a bid legally binding?
Chat without identity becomes unusable within a day. The names in a room are what keep it civil.
Buying needs somewhere to send it, and someone to refund.
Watching asks nothing of anyone, so it costs nothing to allow.
What an account actually is
A verified mobile number. Not an email list, not a profile to fill in, not a password to invent. Why does Metzee ask for my phone number?
You can make one mid-show in about two minutes without losing your place — which is the usual way it happens, when something you want comes up.
The one thing to do before you need it
Sign up before the item you want appears, not as the clock runs. Thirty seconds of verification while an auction is in its last ten is how people lose things they had decided to buy.
If you are watching a show with something you might want in it, do it in the quiet part.
What Metzee knows about a signed-out viewer
You are counted in the viewer number, and that is it. No name, nothing kept against you, nothing to delete. Who can see my delivery address?
For sellers
Your viewer count includes people without accounts, which is a reason not to read a quiet chat as an empty room. Plenty of people watch several shows before they ever bid on one.
