You choose. Payout schedule on the payouts screen offers three:
Every Monday—Checked every Monday from 9am. Minimum {min}.On the 1st of each month—Checked on the 1st from 9am. Minimum {min}.When I ask—Tap Withdraw whenever you want your money.
With an automatic schedule you can also set Only if the balance is at least (₹), so a thin week rolls forward instead of making a small transfer.
Which to choose
When I ask if you want control, or if your cash flow is uneven. The trade is that nothing happens unless you remember — and "my payout has not arrived" is sometimes "my payout has not been requested".
Every Monday for most stores. Regular enough to plan around, infrequent enough not to think about.
Monthly if you treat the store as a business with monthly books, and you do not need the cash sooner.
What moves an order into a later run
This is the part that confuses people, and it is not the schedule. A payout only ever sends what is available, and an order becomes available after:
- It is delivered. Before that it is
On the way to buyersand not yours yet. - The settlement hold passes — 24 hours after it is delivered, shown as
Settlement hold · {n}h. - No return or dispute is open on it. One freezes that order's money until it is resolved —
Held by returns & disputes.
So an order delivered on Sunday evening is not in Monday's run, because the hold has not passed. And an order with an open return will not be in any run until the return is answered.
That third one is the fixable one, and it is the one sellers ignore. Money sitting in Held by returns & disputes is a returns problem wearing a finance costume — answer the return and it releases. Why is my payout taking so long?
Once a payout is sent
It shows Requested, then Paid, and Usually credited within 2 business days.
A Failed payout is almost always a details mismatch — the name on the account, or a wrong IFSC. Fix the details and it is retried rather than lost. Payout failed
Changing the schedule
Any time, on the same screen. One caution: You can change it once your current payout is paid. — so settle what is in flight first.
And do not change your bank account while a payout is on its way to the old one. Changing your payout bank account
What stops everything
You owe Metzee {amount} — a negative balance from refunds, promotions or courier charges exceeding what came in. Nothing is withdrawable while it stands, and it settles from later sales rather than being billed.
