How to find something you bought months ago

There is no search on your order list. That is worth knowing before you go hunting for one — the Activity screen has filters, not a search field.

Here is how to find an old order with what does exist.

The filters

Activity → Purchases, then the filters along the top: All, Won, Bidding, Saved, Refunds, History.

History is the one for old orders. It holds everything that is finished.

Nothing is deleted with age. An order from a year ago is still there.

Narrowing it down by memory

Since you are scrolling rather than searching, use what you remember:

Was it a win or a buy-now? Won separates auction wins from the rest.
Was it refunded? Refunds is a much shorter list than History.
Roughly when? The list is in date order, so an approximate month gets you close quickly.
Which seller? Their store page shows what they have listed, which often jogs the specific item.

Once you have found it

Open it for Order details, which carries:

The item, what you paid, and how — Paid online · {date} or Paid in cash · {date}
Ordered on and the delivery record
Order ID, with Order ID copied when you tap it
Invoice and Receipt

Getting the invoice again

Invoice, from the order. There is no window after which you cannot — past orders keep theirs.

The document opens through a short-lived link, so save the file rather than bookmarking it. If the link has expired, tap Invoice again for a fresh one. How to download an invoice.

Copy the order ID before you message anybody

If you are asking a seller or Metzee about an old order, Order ID is the thing to include. One tap copies it, and it turns "I bought a saree from you a while ago" into a question somebody can answer in one reply.

Buying the same thing again

Where it is offered, Buy again takes you back to the item or the store. For a one-off second-hand piece there will be nothing to buy again — but the store page shows what else they have, and following them is how you hear about the next one. How to follow a seller.

Questions people ask

How far back does it go?

All of it. Orders are not removed with age.

What if I deleted my account and made a new one?

The old account's history is not transferred. A deleted account's details are erased after a grace period. How to delete your account.

Can I search by item name?

Not on the order list. The filters plus the date order are what there is.

Can I export my orders?

Not as a buyer. Sellers can export their own sales.
