Yes. There is a block on your Finance screen built for exactly this, running from the start of the Indian financial year rather than from January.
Its own subtitle says what it is for: useful for GST and income-tax filing.
What it gives you
A year-to-date figure for each of:
Item sales, with the order countShipping charged— markedkept by you · no feeYour earningsPlatform fees paidDiscounts givenRefunded orders, with how manyPaid out to bankGST TCS, if your store is registered for GSTIncome-tax TDS, marked eithersection 194-Oorhigher rate: no PAN
That last marker is worth a glance every time you open the screen. Why was tax deducted from my payout?
And the detail underneath
A summary is not enough for a return, so there is also:
- The ledger — every movement as it happened, exportable as a file.
- Analytics exports — each tab exports as CSV, so sales by month or by category come out as a spreadsheet rather than something to copy by hand.
- An
Export reportsheet on your dashboard, for a period you choose.
Between them, your accountant can reconcile rather than take a total on trust, which is what they will ask for.
What it is not
Not a filed return, and not advice. The screen says it itself: For your records — confirm GST and income tax with your accountant.
Not an invoice for Metzee’s fees. That is a separate monthly document, and it is not switched on yet. Where is my invoice for Metzee’s fees?
Not a buyer’s invoice. Different document again. How to get an invoice for an order
The sensible routine
Export at the end of each quarter rather than scrambling in July. Three things — the ledger, the analytics tabs you care about, and a note of the year-to-date figures — take ten minutes while the numbers are fresh, and they turn a filing week into an afternoon.
And check the PAN marker while you are there. A year of deductions at the higher rate because of a missing PAN is a real loss, and it is two minutes to fix at any point before it happens.
