Which notifications you get, and which not to turn off

A short list, what each one means, and the one that costs you money if you mute it.

Notifications here are about things you asked for, not things we want to tell you.

The ones that matter

You won something. The start of a clock. Thirty minutes to pay if you were watching.

Pay now. The reminder inside that window. This is the one not to mute — a missed payment is a cancelled order and a strike.

Your order shipped, with tracking when there is any.

A seller you follow is live. The single most useful one for a regular buyer, and the reason following is worth doing.

For sellers

You sold something. A buyer paid. A buyer raised an issue — that one starts your 48 hours to reply. Your payout is on its way.

Turning them down

Per type, so you can keep the wins and lose the rest. The only one worth keeping whatever you do is the payment reminder.

If none are arriving

Permission first — the browser has to be allowed. Then battery optimisation, which on Android will hold notifications back without telling you.

Questions people ask

Will I get marketing messages?

Not ones you did not ask for.

Can I get these by email instead?

Some of them. The time-sensitive ones are better where you will see them quickly.

Why am I not getting any notifications?

Browser permission first, then battery optimisation — on Android that will hold them back without telling you. In that order.

Does following a seller spam me?

It tells you when they go live. That is the whole feature.
