No. Metzee sells objects. A booking, a lesson, a consultation, a repair, a commission slot — none of those fit.
Not a rule bolted on, but the shape of the thing.
Why the machinery will not hold a service
The money is released on delivery. A parcel has a tracked handover; a two-hour lesson does not. The hold that protects you both has nothing to release against.
Returns assume an object. "Not as described" is decided by looking at what arrived. You cannot send back an afternoon.
Delivery is priced by weight and PIN code. There is nothing to weigh.
So a service listed here would be a sale with none of the protections working, for either side. That is worse than not being able to list it.
What is allowed, and is close
A made-to-order object. You make the thing and post the thing — that is a sale, not a service, even though work happens first. How to run an offer
A kit or materials, where the buyer does the doing.
Something with instructions in the box. The object is the sale; the teaching travels with it.
The test is simple: at the end, is a physical thing in somebody's hands? If yes, it is a listing. If no, it is not.
Digital goods, which people ask about next
Also no, and for related reasons. Can I sell digital goods?
If services are your actual business
Metzee can still be useful to you — as the place you sell the objects around the work. A potter who teaches can sell pots here and mention the classes in a show.
What you cannot do is take the booking through Metzee, and you should not try to arrange it privately with a buyer either: moving a sale off the platform removes every protection and is against the rules. Is Metzee safe to buy from?
