A plain reading. Where this and the privacy policy differ, the policy is the one that counts.
What is collected
What you give: a mobile number, a name, a delivery address when you buy, and payment details handled by the payment provider. What the service records in use: your orders, bids, messages and the ordinary technical information any site has.
As a buyer you are never asked for a PAN or Aadhaar. Sellers need a tax identity because selling requires one. What information does Metzee need from a buyer?
Who sees it
Sellers you buy from see your name, mobile number and delivery address, so they can deliver. That order only. Who can see my delivery address?
Buyers see a store's public details.
Other users see only your public profile — name, username, photos — and what you post publicly.
Service providers that process data for Metzee, each named in the policy rather than described vaguely: the database and sign-in provider, the payments provider, the live-video provider, the messaging and email providers, and the host. They may use it only to provide their service.
Government authorities where the law requires it.

How long it is kept
While your account is open. When you delete it, personal details are removed; records of orders, invoices and payouts are kept without them for as long as tax law requires. How to delete your account
Your rights
See and correct your details in Settings. Choose which notifications you get. Delete your account yourself. Ask for a copy of your data, withdraw consent, or raise a grievance by writing to us. Can I get a copy of my data?
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to what each part of the service needs, and sensitive details — PAN, bank details, sign-in codes — are readable only by the servers.
If you are not satisfied
Write to the support address in the policy; the aim is a reply within 7 days. Beyond that you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India, which does not depend on Metzee agreeing with you. Who do I complain to about Metzee?
What is not covered here
What happens to the database if Metzee stopped operating is not written into the policy. That is a gap rather than a reassurance, and saying so is better than paraphrasing something that is not there. What happens to my data if Metzee shuts down?
