Common mistakes selling anime and manga
"Near complete" instead of volume numbers, and a spine broken by bad packing.

Common mistakes selling minerals and crystals
No scale in the frame, an undeclared treatment, and a claim about what a stone does to a person.

Common mistakes selling handmade work
Apologising for the variation, and pricing against a factory.

Common mistakes selling art
Letting an attribution ride along inside a condition claim, and framing before the sale.

Common mistakes selling antiques
Refinishing before the show. An afternoon of polishing can remove most of the value.

Common mistakes selling film posters
Flattening a folded poster, and never showing the back of the sheet.

Common mistakes selling cricket memorabilia
Certainty you cannot back, and a bat posted without checking what the courier charges for length.

Common mistakes selling sports memorabilia
Writing "authentic", and blending a condition claim with a provenance claim.

Common mistakes selling sports cards
Naming a grade you hope for, and comparing a raw card against a slab.

Common mistakes selling toys and collectibles
Using the collectible box as the shipping carton. It arrives, and the value does not.

Common mistakes selling video games
Writing "working" about something you have not switched on, and never saying the region.

Common mistakes selling records
Posting the record inside its sleeve. It splits the seam, and the seam is money.

Common mistakes selling books and films
Writing "first edition" without showing the copyright page, and using "good" to mean good.

What is a storage or estate lot worth?
What you can see in it. Everything underneath is a bonus, not a price.

Common mistakes selling sarees
Photographing it folded, and making a claim about zari you cannot support.

What is your food or drink worth?
The date is the clock, and the courier decides how far it can go.

Common mistakes selling comics
Selling a reprint as a first, and finding out on camera that you never looked at the indicia.

What are your beauty products worth?
Sealed and in date, or opened and honest. The dates do most of the pricing.

Common mistakes selling coins and notes
Cleaning one. There is no second place.

What are your baby and child items worth?
Completeness and condition, with a check that comes before any number.

Common mistakes selling trading cards
A predicted grade in the title, and a card photographed flat.

What is your outdoor gear worth?
How it was stored matters more than how much it was used.

Common mistakes selling jewellery and watches
Not weighing it on camera, and writing the word "genuine" about something you cannot show.

What is your sports equipment worth?
Model year and the condition of the part that does the work. Nothing else counts for much.
There is a show on right now.
Nothing to install — it runs in this browser.
