Setting your no-show terms
Three numbers on the item: how long, how much, and whether it spoils.

Why some items can only be collected
Couriers refuse more than the law does. The usual list, and what to do if you want it anyway.

Collecting safely from someone you have not met
Go to the published point, in the published hours, with the order already paid. Five rules.

Can I visit a seller in person?
Only where a store offers pickup, and only at the place it published. Why that limit is the protection.

What is a pickup point?
A place a store hands orders over. What it tells you before you choose it, and the one checkout rule to know.

What does "collect by" mean?
Your deadline for picking an order up. How it is worked out, including the part nobody guesses.

I went to collect and it was not ready
Report it the same day. The clock stops, and that is the point.

I missed the collect-by time
What happens, what it costs, and whether it can still be extended.

Do I need ID to collect?
The app uses a code, not identity. What a seller may reasonably ask, and what they should not.

Can I check the item before paying at pickup?
No — it is already paid when you arrive. What you can do instead is better than it sounds.

What hours can I collect?
The seller sets them and you see them before bidding. Check them before, not after.

Where exactly do I collect from?
The area before you bid, the full address after you pay. Why it works that way.

How do I make sure something fragile arrives safely?
Three questions to ask before bidding, and the case for collecting instead.

Can it go to a locker or a shop?
No. There are no lockers and no third-party collection points. What exists instead.

How to collect an order, step by step
From ready for collection to walking away with it — including the one thing to do before you leave.

Can someone else collect it for me?
Usually yes — the code is what matters, not the face. Tell the seller first.

What if I am a little late collecting?
Message the store. What the terms allow, what they do not, and the one case where the clock stops.

Can I collect instead of having it posted?
Only where the seller offers it — and you agree to the terms before you bid, not after you win.

How to offer pickup, step by step
Adding a collection point, setting the days and hours, and the two terms that decide what happens when nobody turns up.

Offering pickup
Where, how long they have, and what you keep if they never come. All agreed before anybody bids.

What happens if I never collect it
The store keeps 7% by default and the rest is refunded. Up to 20% if they set it higher, and a flat 20% for anything that spoils.

Collecting an item in person
Win, pay, the seller marks it ready, and you have 72 hours by default to come and get it.

What does pickup-only mean?
The item cannot be posted, you agree to collect it before you bid, and there is a charge if you never do. All of it is shown up front.
There is a show on right now.
