Common mistakes selling sneakers
Posting a deadstock pair in their own box is the expensive one. Hiding the sole is the slow one.

What is your furniture worth?
Material, condition of the surfaces that get used, and how far it has to travel.

What is your womenswear worth?
Occasion wear and everyday wear price differently. Measurements and the lining decide both.

What is your menswear worth?
Fabric and condition, measured rather than sized. Most of it is worth more as a lot.

What is your old phone or laptop worth?
Whether it works, what is included, and how old the battery is. Age does the rest.

What is your bag worth?
Corners, hardware and the inside. Condition moves the price further here than almost anywhere.

What is your collectible worth?
Edition size, condition, packaging — and how certain you are about what it is.

What is your manga collection worth?
Edition and completeness. A run with one volume missing is a different item from a run.

What is your mineral or crystal worth?
Species, locality and whether it has been treated. Size is the least of it.

What is your handmade work worth?
Your hours are the floor. Everything above it is the technique, the region and the maker being named.

What is your artwork worth?
Original or print decides the band. After that it is the artist, the medium and the condition.

What is your antique worth?
Not age. Maker, provenance, condition, and whether the repairs were declared.

What is your film poster worth?
Original printing, measured size, and what is on the back of the sheet.

What is your cricket memorabilia worth?
The match, the player, and whether the story survives a direct question.

What is your sports memorabilia worth?
Worn, issued or replica — and then how much of the story you can actually show.

What are your sports cards worth?
Player, print run and centring — and never the grade you hope a raw card would get.

What are your toys and collectibles worth?
For anything boxed, the cardboard is a large part of the answer.

What are your video games worth?
Complete, loose and sealed are three prices. Region and whether it runs decide the rest.

What are your records worth?
The pressing and the disc. The sleeve matters, and it matters less than people think.

What is your book worth?
Which printing, and whether the jacket survived. The title is the least informative thing about it.

What is your saree worth?
Weave, region and what the zari actually is. Condition decides whether any of it matters.

What are your comics worth?
Issue, printing and the spine. A first printing and a reprint are the same story and different objects.

What are your coins or notes worth?
Rarity within a series, not age. An old coin everyone has is worth less than a recent one nobody kept.

What are your trading cards worth?
Print run, edition and centring — and the gap between a raw card and the same card graded.
