Delivering antiques: courier, local or collection
The most fragile category on the site, and the one where collection is most often the right answer.

The model number and date stamp, readable. Then every strap, buckle and fixing laid out.
Photographing an estate lot
Lay it out. A photograph of a closed box is a photograph nobody bids on.
Photographing outdoor gear
Pitch it. One photograph of a tent standing beats ten of a stuff sack.
Photographing sports equipment
Show the part that does the work, and show it doing it.
Photographing furniture and homeware
Shoot from its own height, put a measure in frame, and rake the light across the top.
Photographing womenswear
Daylight for colour, the lining turned out, and the tape where the measurements are.
Photographing menswear
Flat, square on, with the tape measure in the frame. The numbers are the listing.
