Setting a starting price
A low start usually ends higher. Here is why, and the cases where it does not.

Photographing an item for a listing
A window, a plain surface and a phone. The expensive part is knowing which shots to take.

Why naming the flaw raises the price
Bidders discount for uncertainty. Telling them exactly what is wrong removes the discount.

Writing a title people actually search for
The words a buyer types, in the order they type them. Not the words you would use about your own stock.

Creating your first listing
Every field, what it does to the buyer's screen, and the two things sellers most often leave out.

Setting up where you get paid
Bank details in your verified name. Get this right on day one and you will not discover it on payout day.

Choosing a store name
It becomes your web address, so changing it later breaks every link anybody saved.

My verification was rejected
Four reasons cover almost all of them, and three are fixed by taking a better photograph.

How long does verification take?
Usually not long. What makes it slow is almost always something fixable at your end.

What documents does Metzee need from a seller?
Proof of who you are, and a bank account in that same name. That is the list.

Do I need an app to use Metzee?
No. Metzee runs in your browser, and there is no app to download yet — for Android or iPhone.

How to find a show worth your evening
Browse by category, follow the sellers who are good, and let the notification do the work.

What can you buy on Metzee?
Sneakers, cards, coins, sarees, handicrafts, comics, cricket memorabilia and about two dozen more. Not only handmade.

I cannot sign in
The code has not arrived, the number has changed, or the account is blocked. Each one, with the fix.

Why does Metzee ask for my phone number?
Because a bid is a promise to pay, and an untraceable promise is worth nothing to the seller who stopped to sell you the thing.

How to create a Metzee account
A phone number and a six-digit code. Two minutes, and you only need it to bid.

What you are not allowed to sell
The banned list with the reasoning, and the grey areas that get people suspended by accident.

Why you should not take a deal off Metzee
Somebody offers you a discount on WhatsApp. Here is exactly what you give up — and what the seller gives up too.

How to report a seller or a listing
Where the button is, what to include, and what happens afterwards.

How sellers are checked before they can sell
Identity, and a payout account in that same name. What that proves, and what it does not.

How and when you get your money back
Approved first, then processed, and back the way you paid — with two exceptions worth knowing.

Returns on Metzee
Five faults are covered for seven days from delivery and no store can shorten that. Changing your mind is a separate question.

How to raise a problem with an order
Open the order, say what went wrong, choose a refund or a replacement. The store has 48 hours; then we step in.

My item has not arrived
What to do, in order, and what happens to your money at each step.
There is a show on right now.
Nothing to install — it runs in this browser.
